Privacy Policy

Helpful Prompts is run by Culmina LLC, registered at 501 Silverside Rd Ste 105 No 5635, Wilmington, DE 19809, USA.

• General contact: info@helpful-prompts.com
• Privacy requests: info@helpful-prompts.com

• Account data: email address, display name, password hash, account preferences, language.
• Order data: name, billing address, country, order history, licence type purchased, invoice documents.
• Payment data: payment method type, the last four digits and expiry of a card, transaction identifiers. Full card numbers are handled directly by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
• Product usage data: downloads, items in cart and wishlist, support tickets and their content.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, timestamps, and cookie or similar identifiers.
• Communication data: newsletter subscription status, email open and click events (only where you have agreed to them), and correspondence with support.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data and ask you not to include such data in support messages. The service is not directed at children under 16.

• To run the shop, deliver the prompts you buy and provide customer support.
• To process payments and prevent fraud.
• To keep the records we are legally required to keep.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
• For analytics and marketing emails, only when you have agreed to them — and you can opt out at any time.
• To defend or establish legal claims if ever necessary.

We need your account, billing and payment details to complete a purchase. Everything else is optional.

• Account data: for the life of the account, then deleted or anonymised within 90 days of account closure.
• Payment records: 13 months from the transaction, plus up to 15 months for chargeback handling where applicable.
• Support correspondence: 24 months from the last message.
• Server and security logs: 30 days, up to 12 months where a security incident is under investigation.
• Analytics data (with your consent): up to 14 months, then deleted or aggregated.
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
• Your cookie choices: 3 years, as evidence of compliance.

Some of our service providers are located outside the EU. Whenever your data leaves the EU, we make sure it is properly protected — for example through approved EU agreements and encryption. If you would like more details, just email info@helpful-prompts.com.

Non-essential cookies are never set before you give consent through our cookie banner. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting: both are single, equally prominent buttons. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser, which will make the banner reappear.

• Strictly necessary: session, cart contents, security and load balancing. These are needed for the site to work. Lifetime: session to 12 months.
• Functional (consent): remembering language, currency and interface preferences. Lifetime: up to 12 months.
• Analytics (consent): aggregated page and conversion statistics. Lifetime: up to 14 months.
• Marketing (consent): campaign attribution and personalised offers. Lifetime: up to 6 months.

We do not make fully automated decisions about you that have legal effects. Automated fraud checks may flag a transaction, but a real person always reviews it before an order is refused.

• Access — you can ask for a copy of your data.
• Rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure — you can ask us to delete your data where we have no legal duty to keep it.
• Restriction — you can ask us to pause processing while a question is resolved.
• Portability — you can receive data you provided in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection — you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and always to direct marketing.
• Withdrawal of consent — you can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before.
• Complaint — you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Requests can be sent to info@helpful-prompts.com. We respond within one month, extendable by two further months for complex requests, and we may ask for information needed to verify your identity.

We protect your data with encryption in transit, encryption of backups at rest, hashed passwords and strict access control. No system is completely secure; if a data breach ever puts you at risk, we will tell you and the relevant authorities.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The current version is always available on this page with its last-updated date. Material changes will be announced by email or a prominent notice on the site before they take effect.
